Join DroneTech for drinks, networking and to hear how commercial drone technology and UAVs are being used in game-changing environmental and conservation projects today.

Who’s speaking?

Mat Bjerregaard: Mat is a conservation scientist work includes providing cutting edge drone technology solutions for broadcasters such as the BBC Natural History, National Geographic. Matt will be sharing his latest project, Chocumentary, looking at the sustainability of cacao in the Phillipines.

Jax Metcalf: The Founder of Poaching Prevention explains how a combination of predictive analysis and (UAVs) is protecting African elephants and rhinos in the wild. Jax has a degree in Ecology and a masters in Conservation & Biodiversity. She spent several years living and working in Central and Southern Africa assisting with dehorning operations in Zimababwe’s Matusadona National Park.
