Outdoor Opera – Rossini’s La Cenerentola
Turn your Sunday into a magical day through a unique opera performance with Bristol’s Outdoor Opera – Rossini’s La Cenerentola. Sunday offers a unique outdoor opera performance, where guests are invited to picnic within stunning grounds, enjoying views across Bristol before settling down to enjoy an evening of opera. The event will take place at Colton’s School from 6pm – and you’ll be taken on a whirlwind journey in this retelling of Cinderella, which will be brought to life by the dazzling cast of Tessitoura and accompanied by one of Rossini’s most exquisite and complex scores.
Art in the Public Realm: Cycle Ride with Christ Whitlock
Art in the Public Realm: Cycle Ride with Chris Whitlock offers a day out of the house to explore fascinating works of art that Bristol’s Castle Park, Lawrence Hill, Cabot Circus and University have to offer. This event starts at the Statue of William III, and you’ll go on to enjoy a bike ride around the beautiful city with Chris Whitlock, an experienced ride leader. Regular cycle rides will be offered throughout the day from 11am till 3pm, so come and join us for an adventure you won’t forget.
Celebrating Nature and Growing Futures
Spice up your traditional Sunday and come together with the local community to celebrate nature through learning many fascinating new skills. Working on the land with taster sessions such as willow weaving, foraging, fire lighting and many more exciting activities. For an activity packed day come down to Growing Futures, Marshfield Road. This event will take place from 11am ’til 5pm.
